- Ralph Abraham, chaos pioneer, author of Chaos, Gaia, Eros, and professor emeritus of mathematics at UC Santa Cruz will introduce the theoretical and cultural context of the series with an overview of the historic shifts in human consciousness and the forms of order they embodied. Chaos dynamics in the sciences will be explained and discussed as well as its social applications.
