In this illustrated talk, the essential Trinity of positive, negative and neutral energies will be discussed in the context of the Emerald Tablet of Thoth/Hermes, harmonics and alchemical healing. The central column of the Caduceus is seen as a matrix of the Absolute unity resolving the apparent paradoxes of quantum physics, and leading to a realm of dynamic peace.

Rhodessa Jones, Co-Artistic Director of Cultural Odyssey and Artistic Director of The MedeaProject: Theater for Incarcerated Women and Idris Ackamoor, musician, composer, tap dancer and Founder/Executive Director of Cultural Odyssey, will integrate jazz, song, tap dance, spoken word and performance rooted in African American traditions in a collaborative exploration of art's power to bring about social and political change by reframing master narratives, reimagining comunity, and making room for hidden histories.

THE FEMININE ARCHETYPE: HEALING THE MIND-BODY SPLIT IN SCIENCE
Beverly Rubik, Ph.D, biophysicist, author of the book, Life at the Edge of Science; and president and founder of the Institute for Frontier Science in Oakland has been a midwife of the emerging paradigm of wholeness in science for many years. In a Powerpoint presentation, she will speak on the emergence of a feminine archetype in science and its ability to heal the split between matter and spirit that has plagued mainstream science since the 17th century.

SEEING PEACE: ARTISTS COLLABORATE WITH THE UNITED NATIONS
Richard Kamler, artist, activist, educator will show slides and talk about his current project, Seeing Peace: Artists Collaborate with the United Nations. For the past 30 years Kamler's work has engaged the notion of art as an agent for social change and cultural transformation, confronting issues of personal freedom and their institutional responses. Seeing Peace is an effort to initiate structural changes in national thinking by "bringing the artist to the table."
