LIVING THE MAGICAL LIFE: AN ORACULAR ADVENTURE
Suzi Gablik,
provocative art critic and author of Has Modernism Failed? and The Reenchantment of Art,
will read from her new memoir, Living the Magical Life: An Oracular Adventure.
Challenging modernistart's opposition between the aesthetic and the social, Gablik,
well-known for her disaffection from modernist agendas, will share and discuss
her views on participatory aesthetics, and her discovery that chance and coincidence
are forms of spiritual guidance in a world that is charged with magical powers.

BEYOND EITHER-OR: RECONCILING TRUTH, BEAUTY AND THE GOOD
Timen Timev Rosencroytz, M.D. and Irina Delin, M.A.
have written many books as an intellectual team including The Revolt of Mediocrities which became
a "bible" for a new generation in Bulgaria. Using their experiences as psychiatrist, philosophers,
poets, musicians, playwrite and painter, they will demonstrate the General Movement of Form -
the same pure structure that appears everywhere, hidden under different semantics - as chords
in music, metaphor in poetry, contradiction in logic and superposition in quantum mechanics.

COMPLEXIO OPPOSITORIUM:
REFLECTIONS ON JUNG AND THE SCIENCE OF COMPLEXITY
Sean Kelly, Ph.D.,
is Director of the program in Philosophy, Cosmology, and Consciousness at CIIS and the author of books
and articles on Hegel, Jung, transpersonal psychology, and the new science. Taking his lead from Jung's
use of the term "complex psychology," Sean Kelly will weave together (co-plexere) Jung's late
musings on the paradoxical nature of the Self with elements from the theories of
physicist David Bohm, biologist Rupert Sheldrake, and systems sage Edgar Morin.
